New "Standing Order" Subscriptions Feature (Geotab Integration)
"Standing Order" subscriptions" can now be configured by clients using Geotab integration. A standing order subscription acts as a template whenever new subscriptions are created for a customer. Once a subscription has been created, the pricing set, include/exclude specified and so on, a standing order subscription can be created by clicking the Standing Order button under the appropriate subscription on the Subscriptions page. This Standing Order subscription can then be associated with the appropriate Geotab customer by entering the customer ID on the Geotab tab, which is accessed from the Customer section of the Customer Dashboard.
New Subscription Creation Automated Process
On the Settings>Integrations>Geotab page, there is now an automated process for subscription creation. If this automated process is turned on, subscriptions are automatically created in draft status in Fusebill whenever new devices are created in Geotab. This feature leverages the "Standing Order" subscription feature mentioned above.
Additional Features
- Optional attachments on posted invoice email: Users now have the ability to exclude attachments from posted invoice emails. To see this feature, navigate to Branding>Outgoing Emails>Invoice Post. Notice that there is now a new toggle switch to include or exclude attachments. "Include Attachment" is turned on by default. If Include Attachment is turned off, users can use the body of the email and relevant merge fields to convey the necessary information.
- New Target Order Quantity for draft purchases (Salesforce integration): When a non-recurring charge (tracked item product) is added to a Salesforce opportunity-for example, a GPS device-quantity can be specified. In the past, this would result in a quantity of "0" being pushed to Fusebill. Now, however, when you Close/Win the opportunity and send to Fusebill, the quantity is retained. When you edit the draft purchase on the Fusebill side, the quantity section now includes the field "Target Order Quantity" which contains the quantity specified in Salesforce. This Target Order Quantity must be met or exceeded (sales order fulfillment) before you activate the customer; otherwise, an error message appears.
