Release 306/307 delivers a substantial set of enhancements focused on Geotab workflows, invoice management, customer administration, HubSpot integrations, and billing controls. The release also includes multiple customer-reported bug fixes and internal quality improvements to reduce regressions and improve platform stability.
New Features
Geotab Subscription Creation and Activation by Shipping Date
A new Geotab job type has been introduced that combines subscription creation and activation workflows based on device shipping dates. This allows billing processes to begin when devices are shipped rather than waiting for device activation events. The feature is designed to support customers requiring earlier billing initiation and includes configuration options for invoice generation behaviour.
On the Geotab configuration page, you can configure the shipping date to be the start of the process.
Dynamic BCC Email Routing
Email templates can now leverage sales tracking code configuration to dynamically define BCC recipients. Organizations can automatically copy designated account managers or agents on customer communications such as invoice notifications and overdue billing emails.
This setting can be found on the Settings > Branding > Outgoing Emails page.
Customer Invalid Address Filter
A new customer grid filter helps identify accounts with invalid addresses. This simplifies customer data cleanup activities and provides greater visibility into address validation issues that may impact tax calculation and billing workflows.
Invoice Line Item Export
Posted invoices now support exporting detailed line-item data to a spreadsheet format. Exported data includes invoice information, quantities, pricing details, service dates, invoice status, and related metadata in a customer-friendly format.
This option appears at the bottom of the invoice.
Duplicate Signup Prevention
Offerings pages now support optional email-based duplicate registration prevention. When enabled, customers attempting to register with an email address already associated with an existing customer record can be presented with a custom message, helping reduce accidental duplicate account creation.
This setting can be found in the Offering edit section.
Invoice & Billing Enhancements
Draft Invoice Editing Improvements
Ready Draft invoices now support:
- Proration controls directly from individual invoice line items.
- Discount management from both invoice-level and line-level views.
Simplified visibility of proration actions across invoice editing scenarios.
Clicking the new edit button opens the proration and discount modal.
These updates create a more consistent editing experience and reduce navigation requirements during invoice adjustments.
Invoice Template Controls
Administrators can now selectively hide quantity and unit price columns on invoice PDFs. This allows organizations to provide simplified invoice formats while retaining full detail within the administration interface.
In the Setting > Invoice Preferences section, you can select which items to display or hide.
Auto-Allocation Control
A new billing preference lets organizations disable the automatic application of unallocated funds and available balances to overdue invoices. This provides greater control for customers who manage allocations manually and want to avoid unexpected balance applications.
Customer-level overrides are also supported.
HubSpot Integration Updates
Deal Update Controls
A new configuration option allows HubSpot integrations to avoid updating deal amounts or line items when subscription data changes. This supports organizations whose deal values differ from recurring billing amounts.
Flexible Customer Creation Behaviour
HubSpot deal processing now supports creating new customer records even when associated contacts are already linked to existing customer accounts. Additional controls allow teams to bypass automatic customer reuse and avoid linking subscriptions to existing contact relationships when required.
Customer Experience Improvements
Enhanced Geotab Error Visibility
Subscription creation workflows have been updated to provide more descriptive error information when device subscription creation fails, improving troubleshooting and support efficiency.
Improved Device View Performance
Optimization work was completed for specific device management scenarios, targeting known performance concerns within device-related views.
Fixes & Quality Improvements
Customer-Reported Fixes
Multiple externally reported issues were addressed in this release, improving reliability and customer-facing functionality across the platform.
