This release brings together some previously released items that further enhance the Stax Bill QuickBooks integration, as well as some new functionality in the Self-Service Portal. Here are just a few of the highlights of the February 20, 2024 [1.243 + 1.244] release.
Feature Highlight
Self-Service Portal
The self-service portal has been updated to include a pay now button on the main page. Additional improvements have been made to allow the selection of invoices to be paid or to pay all outstanding along with the ability to add a payment method while in the payment process wizard.
Donations Options
You can also accept donations or tips while a customer is making a payment. You can add non-taxable items to the payment option where a customer could enter a particular amount for a donation or provide a tip. This information will be included on a separate invoice and can be viewed within the portal.
A donation or tip is a customizable purchase item that can be configured as a tax-exempt product and included in the purchaseable items section of the self-service portal by navigating to the Portal and, under the Self-Service menu, click Configure. On the Configure page, click Purchases and configure the products to purchase.
Enhancements
QuickBooks Online
The QuickBooks Online integration has been further enhanced to allow you to retry warnings or errors once you have resolved the issue. This provides instant confirmation if the fix was successful.
