Stax Bill Santa is here and bringing loads of cheer. This year's Christmas release includes user interface enhancements to simplify things. In addition, one of our most requested features has also been left under the Christmas tree for you to enjoy. Here are a few of the December 3, 2024 [1.265] presents.

 

Feature Highlight

Payment Summary in Posted Invoices

A favourite request has now been added to the posted invoices. When a payment is made, it can be configured to appear in the posted invoice.

This allows customers to see their payments and better understand the status of their account.

To enable this feature, navigate to Settings >Financials >Invoice Template. From there, you can add the payment section and modify what should be included. Once enabled, all invoices will include payment details. 

Enhancements 

Giving a gift? Make it a little cheaper with a Coupon Code and Name

When you enter a coupon, you can see the coupon code and name displayed in both the Stax Bill and the HubSpot interface.

Secondary Phone and Email Addresses

Secondary phone and email are displayed within the UI; users can search using those parameters. 

 

Promo added to the Migration type

Santa loves promos as much as the next person, so we added them to the migration type when migrating plans. Santa, so demure.

Reconciliation Download Sub GL Code support

You can now include sub GL codes in the CSV download.

Improved Search for Tax and Sales Tracking Codes

When looking for a code, we have improved the search function to allow matches on partial strings like store numbers. search.png

 

Christmas Munchkins

These have been permanently removed from the Naughty list.

  • Void and Refund will log the user who initiated the void and refund.
  • Bug 60214: Cannot purchase a created draft purchase without saving.
  • Bug 60842: Paypal express checkout is available in UI after PayPal complete payments gateway is configured.
  • Bug 60843: Cannot create Venmo payment method.
  • Bug 60903: Reverse unearned amounts and revenue earned for today - reversing earned amount for November.
  • Bug 60977: Payment fails on migration after special customer import.
