From a parent customer, you can assign a child customer to be a part of the customer hierarchy. From a parent customer, you can also remove a child customer.
Assigning a Child
To assign a child to a parent customer, complete the following:
- From the left menu, click Customers to open the Customer view.
- Click on a parent customer to which you would like to assign a child.
- On the Customer Overview page, click View All in the Children card.
- In the Children view, click Assign Child in the top right corner.
- On the Assign Child window, search and select the child; then click Save.
- The new child customer is added to the Children view.
Removing a Child
To remove a child from a parent customer, complete the following:
- From the left menu, click Customers to open the Customer view.
- Click on a parent customer to which you would like to assign a child.
- On the Customer Overview page, click View All in the Children card.
- On the Children page, click Quick Actions next to the child to be removed.
- From the Quick Actions drop-down menu, click Disconnect Child.
- On the Confirmation window, click Yes.
- The child is removed from the Children view.
