You can set a plan to have a product start at a later date than the activation of the subscription. This is a great way to offer free products for a specific period and then automatically add them to the invoice.
To Set activation dates:
- Navigate to Catalog >Plans.
- Select the Plan and then click the Product to schedule.
- On the Edit Plan page, from the Advanced Setting, select Life Cycle and click Go.
- On the Advanced Life Cycle Settings page, select On for Product Activation and enter a time to activate.
- Click Apply.
The product will now activate after the set amount of periods.
Note: This feature is not recommended for End of Period billing products such as a usage meter, as it may result in unexpected behaviour.
