The Reports page in Stax Bill is where you can dynamically display data in interactive charts to view the health and statistics of your business.
This graphical interface provides insightful data in a customizable chart that allows you to visually review important data. You can hover on data to view more details, show or hide specific data, and filter based on your requirements.
Reports may be downloaded or placed into the Jobs section where they can be downloaded if the report is especially large.
Stax Bill offers a multitude of reports. Most are accessible from the reports page. The four-pillar reports are the following:
- Sales Summary
- Cash Summary
- Revenue Summary
- MRR Summary
In addition, the reconciliation report is another crucial report that is offered.
With all business organizations, different roles are interested in different reports and levels of detail. Stax Bill reports provide a wide variety of reports that are customizable to specific needs.

Cash by Cohort |
The Stax Bill Cash By Activation Co-Hort report allows you to segment your collection activity data by the contributions made by your customers activated in historical monthly periods. Whenever a customer is activated, they are automatically assigned to an activation cohort matching the month they became active. You can then use the Cash by Cohort report to get a breakdown of your historical customer base's contributions to any month’s collection volume. |

Cash by Payment Method Type |
This report is about segmenting your cash collections into the various high-level payment method types your customers can use. |

Cash by Payment Method |
This report allows you to review your payment activity processed on specific gateways and establish a breakdown of cash collection activity by payment method types (i.e. VISA, AMEX, Mastercard). |
The report allows a standard input of date range parameters with the option to include or exclude refunds. |
Cash by Gateway |
This report allows you to select a specific gateway and look into the payment and refund activity processed over the specified time range. The report provides a monetary amount between successful payments on the initial attempt vs payments that are processed as retries by the Stax Bill dunning system. |

The Revenue by General Ledger (GL) code report allows you to see a breakdown of your monthly earned revenue by individual General Ledger Codes you have created in the Stax Bill Catalog. |
Use this report to track the revenue of groups of products that you have flagged as contributing to the same final revenue group. |

MRR Summary / MRR Report |
Displays a summary of changes to monthly recurring revenue since the start of the month. Includes opening MRR, growth MRR, lost MRR, and current MRR. |

Monthly Closing | ||
Reconciliation Report |
Shows an overview of every ledger in your account within a specified period. Includes debits, credits in the period, net credits, net debits, and closing balance. Exporting to CSV provides a full list of every transaction in the period. |
This report includes the details of all transactions in your Stax Bill system. The CSV download of this report can be used to produce detailed and summarized reports of Stax Bill activity across many different axes, especially from an accounting perspective. |
Cash Report | Shows total debits, credits, opening balance, closing balance, opening YTD, and closing YTD for the cash ledger within a period. Exporting to CSV will provide all individual transactions on the cash ledger.

AR Balance | This report shows you the movements to the AR Balance ledger for the specified period. | |
Taxes Payable Report | Summarizes all of the taxes that have been charged to your customer base. Shows unique tax codes and corresponding opening balance, charges, reversals, net charges, and closing balance during a time period. Exporting to CSV shows individual tax charges during the period. | This report shows you a summary of all the taxes that have been charged across your customer base. |
Earned Revenue Report | Displays movements in earned revenue for a specific period. Shows Opening Balance, Opening YTD, total Debits, total Credits, Closing YTD, and Closing Balance on both Gross Earned Revenue and Net Earned Revenue. | This gives you a summary of the movements in earned revenue for the selected period by currency. The default period is set to the previous calendar month. |
Deferred Revenue Report | Displays movements in deferred revenue for a time period. Shows Opening Balance, total Debits, total Credits, and Closing Balance on both Gross Deferred Revenue and Net Deferred Revenue. | This gives you a summary of the movements in deferred revenue for the selected period by currency. The default period is set to the previous calendar month. |
Write Off Report | Lists all write-offs that occurred within a given period. Includes Stax Bill ID, Customer ID, Invoice ID, and Write Off Amount. | This report lists all write-offs that occurred within a given period. It displays the associated customer, invoice, and amount written off. |
Credit Report | Lists all credits granted to customers within a specified period. Includes Stax Bill ID, Customer ID, Date, Line Item Description, and Amount. | This report list all credits granted to customers within a given period, by currency. |
Opening Balance Report | Lists the opening balance carried over to customers through an import into the Stax Bill system. | This report lists the opening balance carried over to customers through an import into the Stax Bill system. The Stax Bill onboarding team mainly uses it, and the data within it does not normally change during the regular use of Stax Bill. |
Collections Report |
Shows the amount of money collected by day and month for a specified period. |

Customers Dashboard |
Displays statistics about All Customers and Active Customers, comparing the current number of customers to 1 month ago, three months ago, six months ago, and 12 months ago. Limited Agents can only see data associated with themselves and their Tracking Code. |
The customers' dashboard is designed to give a trend analysis of customer acquisitions over time. The dashboard provides a breakdown of customer counts for all customers (regardless of status) and customers specifically in "Active" status. |
Historical Daily Report |
Summarizes activity of a day in the past, including Invoices, Draft Invoices, Payments, Refunds, and Failed Payments. It also shows a list of all invoices posted on the day. |
This report is accessed by drilling down into a past day from the Calendar Report. |
Invoice Aging |
Shows the aging of every receivable. Includes the Balance, Amount Due, Due Within Terms, 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 90 to 120, >120, Available Funds, and Actions for each receivable. |
The Details table shows the AR aging on a per customer basis (i.e., each row represents a single customer and displays the balance, amount due and aged receivables. |
Invoice Summary | Gives a summary of all invoice activities for the current and previous month, including the Total Amount Invoiced, Write-Offs, Credit Notes, Total Payments, Total Refunds, and Outstanding Balance. | You can see a summary of what was invoiced vs. what was collected, totals of all types of adjustments made. |
Net Collections Dashboard |
Shows you the current status of your Net Cash collections (minus discounts) compared to the last month, day, and year. |

Net Earned Revenue Dashboard |
Plots daily, monthly, and annual Net Earned Revenue compared to the previous day/month/year. |

Projected Daily Report |
Lists all projected invoices for a specific day, with the Stax Bill ID, Customer ID, Full Name, Company Name, Terms, Payment Method, Auto Post setting, and Projected Sub Total for each invoice. This report is accessed by drilling down into a future day from the Calendar Report. |

The report graphs the relative volume of different types of migrations and lists all migrations that occurred within a given period. Displays a summary of the Assets, Liabilities, Revenues, and Expenses Ledgers. |

Subscription Reports by Plan and Product |
Reporting by Plan plots the number of subscriptions made to each plan and shows Churn Percentage, Grown Percentage, and Percentage of Cohort Remaining. Reporting by Product plots active subscriptions over time to each product. Limited agents can only see data related to customers associated with themselves and their Tracking Code. |

Allows Administrators to monitor specific events, such as User logins, Customer status changes, Account Billing Settings changes, Account Email Settings changes, Customer Email Settings changes, and Customer Accounting Status changes. |
