Summer is here, and Stax Bill has a double release of enhancements and bug fixes. The team is working hard to improve efficiencies and other enhancements to improve the Stax Bill experience. Here are some of the highlights of this mid-July release.

Enhancements

Allocate credits and payments to invoices

You can specify whether previously made credits or payments are allocated immediately to a posted invoice. Any remaining balance will be collected on the invoice due date as usual.

This allows customers to see their credits applied immediately to invoices without having to wait. 

Surcharge details are displayed more prominently on the SSP

When a customer makes a payment on the SSP, especially when using a saved payment card, a notice is now displayed in multiple areas to inform the customer that their payment will incur surcharging fees. 

Debit and credit cards are more distinguished

Debit and Credit cards are now more clearly labelled on the SSP to note their type.

Contract start and end dates are included when exporting the invoice list

Now, when you go to the Invoice page, click Export, and then select a detailed report, the report will contain any contract date information. 

NetSuite IDs on the Payments page are exported in the Payments export

Exporting the payments page now includes the NetSuite ID in the report.

Pending draft invoices: Send as Email button

A Send as Email button has been added to the Pending Draft Invoice. Now, just like a Ready Draft Invoice, you can send a draft to your customer for pre-approval, review, or notification.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) reset

You can reset a user in your organization without needing to contact Stax Bill.  Please get in touch with your Support representative to enable this feature.
