The Fall season is here, and Stax Bill continues to improve backend functions to make the system more robust and efficient. Additionally, bugs are being targeted to ensure the most enjoyable Fall possible! Here are just some of the updates in this October 7, 2025, release.

Enhancements

Behind-the-scenes work will enhance the system's responsiveness, particularly during peak times. 

Improvements to caching and database utilization have been implemented to reduce slowdowns during periods of heavy usage and enhance response times. This work is ongoing to improve systems all around by implementing newer technologies. 

 

Payment Method Nickname

You can now add an alternative name to a payment method in the Self Service Portal (SSP). When you create a new payment method or have an existing one, click the edit button next to the payment method to add a name.

The nickname will appear when paying invoices and in any other place where the payment method is displayed. The nickname will help better identify a payment method, especially when there are multiple options to choose from.

 

Bugs

  • Bug 57260: Subscription by Product Report numbers in UI do not match the report.
  • Bug 63749: Custom GMAR Monthly Cash Report does not work with the new payment status paradigm.
  • Bug 63757: Column Spacing issue on refund allocations with surcharging.
  • Bug 64245: Clearing customer failing in billing for a general error when a payment is auto-resolved.
  • Bug 64345: Coupons not applying in SSP migration flow - "Apply" button unresponsive and discount missing.
  • Bug 64432: Authorization response and gateway details are missing from the Payment Details page when the card is a debit card.
  • Bug 64698: PayPal payment method nickname not displaying on SSP.
  • Bug 64731: Limit dunning attempts to once per day.
  • Bug 64518: Cannot save the Geotab ID with limited permissions.
  • Bug 64197: Unknown payments after a payment method is auto-updated by the System.
  • Bug 54968: Latching NetSuite customer results in a 500 error.
  • Bug 64066: The purchase/subscription button in HS is not visible when there are five or more purchases.
  • User Story 63728: Offering page allows a zero quantity for included plan product.
