The team is back with another exciting release. Over the last few months, the team has been working on the backend to improve the system's efficiency and robustness. As backend work comes to a close, the team is resuming adding enhancements to the UI. Here are just a few of those enhancements in this November 4, 2025, release.
Enhancements
Automatic Logout warning
You will now be notified when the system detects no activity. You can either extend the session or log out. This prevents situations where you may be filling out details on a page and the system has previously logged you out. With the new enhancement, this should prevent any loss of information when entering details that may take time.
ACH Payment Emails
A new customer email notification has been added specifically for ACH payments. ACH payments differ from other forms of payment because they require additional time to process and may be returned as failed after a longer period. This new email sent a notification to the customer that a payment is pending and in the process of being settled. The new email also introduces new merge fields that include masked ACH account numbers to help a customer understand where the payment is coming from.
The new email informs the customer that a payment is proceeding and will be confirmed or processed once it has cleared.
Note: Currently, ACH pending applies to those using either the Stax Processing or Stripe ACH gateways.
PriceBook enhancements
Pricebooks now support setting a starting date. Users will have the ability to schedule price changes of plan products in the catalog. Using the existing price refresh on existing and future subscriptions, price books ensure the current price is used from the catalog upon billing.
Users will be able to view a history of effective prices in the pricebook, along with their start dates.
API enhancements
The GET invoices by customer API call, along with related others, have had their responses modified to include product and plan code information. This helps provide more details without requiring additional API calls or data manipulation.
Payment Method Nicknames
The new ability to add payment method nicknames is now visible to Stax Bill agents so that they can quickly identify and communicate which payment method a customer may be inquiring about.
